Bra shopping can feel tricky. Bra shopping as a DD+, even trickier. But - it doesn’t have to feel that way. Often, but not always, full bust needs can differ from those below that DD threshold in that what feels comfortable for you can very much be influenced by what feels supportive to you. The good news? There is a lot out there to choose from, probably more than you realize.

‘What are the best bras for big breasts?’ is one of the questions that I get asked the most. Though fuller-busted women often choose unlined or seamed styles that offer less bulk and more support, you should never feel limited to just one type of bra. Preferences vary and there is not one right bra for each bust type across the board. Chantelle offers a wide range of sizes in all style types, so you can find what works best for you.

As always, it’s best to start with a fitting, either in person or using our online fit guide, to make sure you are wearing the right size. Then, discover our favorite full bust solutions, an easy start to your perfect bra wardrobe.

Looking for Full Coverage and Support? Seams provide additional lift, which can be particularly helpful for women with heavier breast tissue, while a fully containing fit can offer a more secure feeling (no spillage!). Try Rive Gauche, for reliable lift and support, up to an I cup… and the gorgeous lace doesn’t hurt either.

Looking for a Minimizer? Minimizers are a must-have wardrobing solution, perfect for reducing separation through the bust in a button down shirt. Magique slims from front to back using a breathable fabric lining for a 360 degree smoothing and cooling effect, while C Magnifique takes a more traditional compression approach to minimize bust projection. Both bras are available up to J cup.

Looking for a T-Shirt Bra? To ensure no ‘bra lines’ under snug tops, everyone needs at least one t-shirt bra in their top drawer. Ultra-light and breathable spacer cups, like those on the Norah Comfort Spacer, are a love for fuller busts who appreciate the bulk-free invisibility up to an I cup. Comfort Chic, which is available up to a J cup, is another full bust favorite for it’s ultra lifted look plus back smoothing.

Looking for Something Sexy? While full coverage styles feel great for security and containment, they don’t work under every neckline in our wardrobes. For a low coverage neckline, try Norah Chic. The ultimate sexy comfort bra, it’s plunge center front is invisible under low necklines, while the sheer lace overlay keeps everything in place. The band feels like butter on the skin making this a day to night favorite up to an H cup.

Looking for a Strapless? Often seen as the most formidable of the bra fits, finding a strapless that is comfortable AND lifted AND supportive can feel daunting. Comfort Chic offers ALL THREE, up to an I cup, for a strapless style that you won’t want to rip off at the end of the night.
