When I had my second child, my husband and I made a huge move across the country to be closer to our family. And when I say closer, I mean I moved one house down from my sister and her family and within 15 minutes of the rest of our extended family.

You can imagine the revolving door of unplanned, unexpected visitors - especially since it was the first time either my husband or I had lived anywhere near family since high school.
